Our Lillypool Lodges offer modern, spacious two-bedroom retreats perfect for families or groups of up to four. Each lodge features one double and one twin bedroom, one bathroom (including a shower), and an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and comfy lounge with flat-screen TV.
As well as this, guests can enjoy the private decking that looks over the surrounding scenery.

The West Mendip Way
6.7 miles (10.8 km)
The route begins in Shipham and follows woodland valleys and ancient mining terrain, passing through Rowberrow Warren, the historic Gruffy area, and rolling limestone plateaux.
It eventually leads into Cheddar Gorge, offering cliff-top views and sightings of wildlife like peregrine falcons, butterflies, and rare wildflowers such as the Cheddar pink.

Located just a 15-minute drive from Lillypool, Mendip activity centre is perfect for families and couples looking for fun activities to enrich the day.

Visitors can explore dramatic cliff-top walks and step beneath the ground in Gough’s Cave, home to the famous Cheddar Man and stunning stalactites and stalagmites, or tour Cox’s Cave. Many climb Jacob’s Ladder, a 274-step ascent to a lookout tower offering panoramic views over Somerset.
Don’t miss the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company to taste locally aged cheddar, stroll through the colourful gift-&-fudge shops, and enjoy a round of CrazyGolf by the Market Cross.
